The Platform for Human Services

Posted on August 6th, 2020

Casebook, originally launched by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, is a proven SaaS human services platform. Our technology solutions are the response to frustration among human services professionals and leaders who have struggled with antiquated information systems. As a result, Casebook PBC develops configurable, intuitive, and easy to maintain software in close partnership with human services practitioners. Our solutions evolve with policy and practice in child welfare and human services to provide the best-in-class experience.

Under the K

North Brooklyn Parks Alliance and I are proud to present a virtual Jane’s Walk for this year’s special “atHome” edition of the annual festival.
This walk takes you “Under the K,” which is a new seven-acre park located under the Kosciuszko Bridge in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
The tour weaves together the bridge’s long history as a crossing as well as it’s eventual demolition and reconstruction. Highlighting how the bridge got its name and giving you a sneak peek at all the people it takes to get a project of this size off the ground.

It was wonderful to collaborate with the team at Casebook. Casebook is the first platform developed hand in hand with caseworkers and purpose-built for human services. With modular support for both field and back-office operations — and flexible integration capabilities right out of the box — Casebook helps agencies tailor, deploy, integrate and continuously improve solutions that allow the focus to remain on the mission rather than the technology.

Janes Walk 2018 – Neighborhood Sol

Posted on September 24th, 2018

Inspired by urban activist Jane Jacobs – Jane’s Walk is a worldwide phenomenon of – absolutely free – citizen lead walks through the neighborhoods they love. Leading her first tour; Re-Zoning Brooklyn; a Waterfront Story is Lynn del Sol, a native New Yorker and twenty year resident of North Brooklyn. She’ll guide crowds through the two-mile stretch of land that makes up the sometimes contentious Greenpoint-Williamsburg Waterfront.
Along the way, she’ll dive deep – pointing out infrastructure projects, waterfront history, new construction, affordable housing, historic homes, landmark misses and the future of public access and public input in city planning. I shot this in three takes, or tours and edited this promo.
